What training tools do you use?
Training a dog can be a challenging task as dogs are living creatures who respond to their environment and lifestyle. After attending our programs, your dog will come home as a more well-rounded and enjoyable companion. However, it is important to note that I cannot guarantee that the dog will remain perfect forever. A dog's behavior is largely influenced by the environment in which they live, which includes you as their owner. Training should be a continuous and lifetime effort. In case you face any issues at home, I offer lifetime assistance to all our camp participants. Feel free to schedule a follow-up lesson either virtually or in-person.
As balanced trainers, we employ all four quadrants of classical dog training, namely positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment, and negative punishment. We use our knowledge of these quadrants to determine the most effective way to work with each dog we encounter. By utilizing all four quadrants, we can communicate more effectively with our furry friends, and we'll be happy to teach you how to do the same with your dog!
